Defeat Diabetes STL Workgroup
The number of diabetes and prediabetes cases in the United States has reached epic proportions, with over 100 million adults aged 18 years and older impacted by these conditions. Recognizing that employers play a significant role in driving health and well-being in our community, BHC members have identified diabetes as a key area of focus for their collaborative efforts. Working together, health benefits, human resources, and wellness representatives from local employers will establish and execute an action plan aimed at preventing, better managing, and reversing type 2 diabetes among employees and their family members. By leveraging the collective impact of businesses, providers, and community partners, we can #DefeatDiabetesSTL.
