A recent RAND Corporation report showed that, on average, private health plans pay 241% of Medicare reimbursement rates for the same hospital services. But does this have to be the case? For the last BHC meeting of 2019, new member Core & Main will share their experience implementing an innovative purchasing model, with payments capped at 140% of Medicare. Hear lessons learned and initial results from this disruptive health care strategy. This case study will be followed by the final installment of the BHC's Coffee with Consultants series, featuring a roadmap from Gallagher Benefit Services for direct-to-employer contracting, including the value proposition and plan design options. |
