New: Global HR/Benefits Roundtable

As the global economy continues to expand, U.S. companies are increasingly faced with new challenges surrounding human resource management and employee benefit plans internationally. In addition to communication and cultural differences around health behaviors, care, and well-being, health care systems and c-suite expectations can also vary widely depending on the country. Join fellow BHC members for an informal roundtable to discuss your organization’s current global HR/benefit strategies and your experience navigating the complexities of an international workforce.

Questions for Discussion

   1. In how many countries does your organization have employees located? Which ones?

   2. Does your organization have local HR/benefits resources in those countries?

   3. Does your organization outsource HR/Benefits or manage internally?

   4. Does your organization have a global benefits strategy?

   5. Describe your partnership with your broker. Country-specific? USA only? Both?

   6. What is your organization's process when you enter a new country (from an HR/benefits perspective)?
